چکیده
We have suggested a method for treating different quantum few-body dynamics without usual partial-wave analysis. With this approach new results were obtained in the physics of ultracold atom-atom collisions and ionization and excitation/deexitation of helium ions. The developed computational scheme opens new possibilities for analysis the actual problem of ultracold atom wave-packets collisions in strong laser or magnetic confinement.

Solving the quantum scattering problem for systems of two and three charged particles
A rigorous formalism for solving the Coulomb scattering problem is presented in this thesis. The approach is based on splitting the interaction potential into a finite-range part and a long-range tail part. In this representation the scattering problem can be reformulated to one which is suitable for applying exterior complex scaling. The scaled problem has zero boundary conditions at infinity ...
متن کاملPartial Wave Analysis of Scattering with Nonlocal Aharonov-Bohm Effect and Anomalous Cross Section Induced by Quantum Interference
Abstract Partial wave theory of a three dmensional scattering problem for an arbitray short range potential and a nonlocal Aharonov-Bohm magnetic flux is established. The scattering process of a “hard shere” like potential and the magnetic flux is examined. An anomalous total cross section is revealed at the specific quantized magnetic flux at low energy which helps explain the composite fermio...

In this paper, we reformulate three-nucleon breakup scattering in leading order approximation by considering spin-isospin degrees of freedom. At first, considering the inhomogeneous part of Faddeev equation, which is a valid approximation in high and intermediate energles, we present the Faddeev equation as a function of vector Jacobi momenta and spin and isospin quantum numbers. In this new fo...
متن کاملTree Unitarity and Partial Wave Expansion in Noncommutative Quantum Field Theory
The validity of the tree-unitarity criterion for scattering amplitudes on the noncommutative space-time is considered, as a condition that can be used to shed light on the problem of unitarity violation in noncommutative quantum field theories when time is noncommutative. The unitarity constraints on the partial wave amplitudes in the noncommutative space-time are also derived.
متن کاملAmplitudes for magnon scattering by vortices in two–dimensional weakly easy–plane ferromagnets
We study magnon modes in the presence of a vortex in a circular easy–plane ferromagnet. The problem of vortex–magnon scattering is investigated for partial modes with different values of the azimuthal quantum number m over a wide range of wave numbers. The analysis was done by combining analytical and numerical calculations in the continuum limit with numerical diagonalization of adequately lar...
